【简　　介】
　　本片是美国著名作曲家科尔·波特(Cole Porter)音乐历程的真实再现，由其所创作的多部作品加以丰润诠释而成。
　　故事开篇于芬芳的巴黎。风度翩翩的音乐人波特(凯文·克莱恩饰)是个陶醉于浪漫生活的美国人，他更喜欢与英俊健壮的同性伙伴打成一片，而不是漂亮女孩儿。这种嗜好因富有且仪态迷人的琳达·李(艾什莉·贾德饰)的出现戛然而止。爱情的可遇而不可求，使波特翻然醒悟，并终使二人踏入了婚姻的殿堂。
　　婚后的琳达对丈夫的事业尽心竭虑，并把波特推荐给了传奇作曲家欧文·柏林。工夫不负有心人，波特很快得到了百老汇的赏识，随后又开始为好莱坞创作音乐作品。事业的急速攀升使夫妻间的距离油然拉大，曾经的难分难舍也变得不那么自信，谁料一场意想不到的悲剧最终竟把两颗淡忘的心重新拉回到了一起……
